Angel Mound Grounds

Here's Why You Should Visit Angel Mounds Historic Site

You gotta see this!

Angel Mounds is a nearly 600-acre site featuring earthen mounds built by a 1,000 year old Mississippian Society.

12 mounds, built for ceremonial and residential purposes, are scattered throughout the grounds.

This site, located right here in the Evansville Region, is like a time capsule that tells the story of the people who inhabited this area from 1000 to 1450 A.D.

Walking the grounds at Angel Mounds is like walking in the footsteps of legends!
