Free Family Fun

🌷 Take a stroll

Lace-up those sneakers and explore one of the many trails across the Evansville Region. Walk, scoot, or push a stroller—each path offers its own kind of family-friendly adventure. For something a little different, try the Harmonist Labyrinth, a peaceful, one-of-a-kind experience in New Harmony.

🦆 Go birdwatching

Spring is the perfect time to go birdwatching. With over 200 species of visiting birds, grab some binoculars (or just your eyes), and spot some local feathered friends at Eagle Slough Natural Area

📚 Get Crafty, Get Moving, Get to the Library

You might already know about free storytime events at Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library branches. You might not know about all of the other free events they host for children and families like Crafternoon, STEAM Club, and family dance parties.

☀️ Picnic & Play in the Park

Pack a lunch and dine al fresco at James Price Park,  Friedman Park, or Mickey's Kingdom. Throw a frisbee, explore the playgrounds, or just soak up the sun.

📸 Strike a Pose

Take a mural walk! Vibrant street art makes for the perfect scavenger hunt with the kids—and a great excuse to snap a few silly selfies along the way. Explore together, spot your favorite colors, and turn your walk into a mini photo shoot.
