It's Time to Get Your Pride On, Baby!

June is rolling around, and you know exactly what that means. It is time to break out the bright colors, gather up your friends, and celebrate Pride Month across the Evansville region 🌈.

Sure, this may be a nationally celebrated occasion, but celebrating love, acceptance, and visibility means a whole lot more when you do it right in your own backyard. Local pride events give us a wonderful chance to support our LGBTQIA+ community, uplift small businesses, and simply have an incredible time together as humans. We are incredibly lucky to live in an area that knows how to come together and celebrate.

From downtown festivals to bar crawls and celebrations across the river, there is something for absolutely everyone. Here is your roundup of the best ways to celebrate pride and joy in our neck of the woods this season.

June 5

Haynie's Corner Pride First Friday

Ready to kick off Pride month in Evansville’s proudest neighborhood? Haynie’s Corner is always a good time, but the First Friday Pride edition is next level! Expect fantastic entertainment at the fountain with Michelle Shelton, followed by the annual PRIDE Drag Show. Rebecca Seaman and Gibson & Pirro will also be keeping the tunes going. Pro tip: come hungry! You’ll want to grab a bite from local food trucks like JB’s Barnyard, Hot Diggity Dog, and Chino Taco while browsing goodies from over 50 local art vendors.

June 6

River City Pride Festival & Parade 

Get ready for the region's largest Pride celebration! On Saturday, June 6th, the 2026 River City Pride Parade & Festival takes over Downtown Evansville for a massive day of love, celebration, and community.

The fun kicks off at noon with the colorful Pride Parade down Main Street. From there, we’re rolling straight into the festival, which runs from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Expect incredible live entertainment, including headlining performances by Kerri Colby from RuPaul's Drag Race and Throb Zombie from Dragula! Plus, you’ll never go hungry with over 100 vendor booths from local businesses, artists, and food trucks.

Pride Music Night

Keep the good vibes rolling as night falls. From 7 PM to 11 PM,  Haynie's Corner Arts District is hosting a spectacular Pride Music Night. You will hear incredible live performances from acts like Best Girl out of Jeffersonville, plus Evansville's own Smthn Smthn Geese and Valentina. While you are tapping your toes to the music, check out the Resource Fair and Business Expo hosted in partnership with the River City Pride Business Alliance.

June 20

The Official Pride Bar Crawl

Ready to paint the town? 🌈 Here's your chance! Join in on an absolutely electric bar crawl through Evansville. The party kicks off at 4:00 PM at The Rooftop for registration. Then, grab your crew and get ready to hop between amazing local spots like Mo's House, Bokeh Lounge, and High Score Saloon. The night caps off with a fabulous, high-energy drag show at Someplace Else Nightclub. You won't want to miss it!

Pride '26 - Henderson, KY

Don't think we forgot about our neighbors across the river! Get ready to celebrate the third annual Pride Festival in Central Park. From 2 PM to 10 PM, this free, family-friendly event will be bursting with energy, featuring over 70 local vendors, delicious food trucks, and a 21+ beer garden. But the real showstopper? The main drag show at 8:00 PM, headlined by none other than Jaida Essence Hall, the winner of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 12! 🎉 This is one party you absolutely cannot miss.
