W.C. Handy Blues and BBQ Festival
Now in its 33rd year, the W.C. Handy Blues and BBQ Festival is a 4-day showcase of musical talent from across the country.
Today, this festival has grown to be one of the largest FREE music festivals in the nation!
On opening day, visitors can enjoy barbeque prepared by local vendors.
Throughout the week, the festival hosts a 5K run, a Mardi Gras style parade, and "happy hours" at nearby bars and restaurants.
