Phil loves Evansville for it’s rich history, proximity to the river, and up-and-coming vibe. It’s the ability to jump in and create and contribute to fashion, art, music, food and the overall culture here that excites him. For now, Philthy is his contribution. “If I’m going to live here, I want it to be cool.” Other things Phil thinks are cool? Siciliano Subs, Pangea, 2nd Language, Haynie’s Corner, Mo’s House, and the upcoming Sunset Skate Park.
Look for the new Philthy van outside the shop. You’ll usually find Phil inside listening to house music, sewing patches, selling vintage clothing and working to produce his own.
