Funk in the City is bringing a full day of art, creativity, and local flavor to Haynie’s Corner!

This annual arts festival fills the neighborhood with artists and makers showcasing everything from paintings and photography to jewelry, pottery, woodworking, and one-of-a-kind finds twice a year! They have both a Spring and Fall event. 

Beyond the art, visitors can grab a bite from local food vendors, enjoy live entertainment, and explore one of Evansville’s most creative neighborhoods. It’s the perfect excuse to spend a fall day outside, support local artists, and experience a little of what makes the Evansville Region so funky.

Where is Funk in the City held?
The festival takes place in the Haynie’s Corner Arts District in Evansville, Indiana.


 

What are the hours?
Both events run from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

 

Is admission free?
Yes, both festivals are free to attend.

 

How do artists and vendors apply?
Applications are available here. Artists will be contacted individually with setup and teardown details after acceptance.

 

Is the event rain or shine?
Yes. The festival takes place rain or shine, except in extreme weather conditions such as severe storms.

 

Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash.

 

Where should I park?
Parking is available via:

  • Street parking throughout Haynie’s Corner
  • A gravel lot across from Bokeh Lounge
