Koch Immersive Theater
 

Koch Immersive Theater and Planetarium

 

Explore the infinite expanse of space from the comfort of stadium-style seating!

This 40 foot domed planetarium features a 10,000-watt digital surround sound system and incredible imagery.

This completely immersive experience feels more like flying through space than watching a movie.

EMTRAC Evansville Museum
 

Evansville Museum Transportation Center (EMTRAC)

Discover the history of transportation in Evansville!

The EMTRAC exhibit includes a model railroad vignette and the Evansville Museum train made of a 1908 steam engine, 1926 club car, and a circa 1900 caboose that can be seen from outside the museum. 

As you explore, you'll also learn about early river and rail travel as well as the development of aviation and street transportation in Evansville.

Keeping it Fresh with Changing Exhibitions 

 

These changing exhibitions are on display at the museum anywhere between a week to several months at a time. You can always find information on dates of current and past exhibitions on the museum's website

No matter what you're into, there's something to capture your attention.

Exhibitions have ranged from the 2024 total solar eclipse phenomenon, tattoo history, Mexican masks, Evansville in the Roaring 1920's and so much more!

Field Trips and Guided Group Tours

Perfect for school aged kids, the Evansville Museum offers field trip packages that are sure to open young minds!

Special programs are available for students pre-k through High School, and typically last about three hours. 

Programs range from a museum highlights tour, interactive science programs, secrets of Ancient Egypt, and more!

For adults and large groups, guided tours of the museum's diverse exhibits are available, but must be booked in advance.

You can purchase tickets to the museum and the Koch Immersive Theater on the museum website.

Every first Friday of the month, admission to the museum and EMTRAC is completely free!
