At the fabulously fragrant Art in Bloom event, local floral designers will pair their gorgeous blooms with inspiring works from the museum’s collection. You can wander through the galleries, soak up the sweet scents, and even vote for your favorite arrangement. It is the perfect excuse to stop and smell the roses! 🌹

Get ready for a wild time at the largest urban old-growth forest in the U.S.! Join in on this reinvigorating Earth Day celebration packed with guided hikes, animal encounters, and interactive booths. The trails are completely free to explore from 9 AM to 5 PM. Plus, local food trucks will be parked right outside the gates, so you can grab a tasty bite after hugging a few trees (just watch out for splinters!) 🌳

Downtown Evansville Spring Wine Walk

Wine not kick off your weekend with a stroll? The incredibly popular Spring Wine Walk takes over Main Street with wine samples, live music, and excellent shopping. You will get a commemorative tumbler and the chance to collect stamps on your Wine Walk Passport for a killer prize basket. Be sure to check out the cuddle station hosted by the Vanderburgh Humane Society while you sip! 🍷🐶

The Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden is hosting the springtime Party for the Planet bash for our beautiful Earth. Running from 10 AM to 2 PM, this event is packed with live music, animal feedings, keeper chats, and a Penguin Palooza Scavenger Hunt. It is absolutely free with your general zoo admission, so bring the whole crew along. 🐧

Let’s taco ‘bout a good time, because with a Taco Festival, you can’t go wrong. Main Street Food & Beverage is transforming into a massive fiesta featuring over 15 taco purveyors and a tequila bar with 40+ premium choices. You can watch the hot pepper challenge, listen to live entertainment, or enter the eccentric dress contest. Children 12 and under get in free, making it an awesome day out for the family. 🌮
