Don't sleep on your local library! EVPL branches are cool, quiet, and loaded with more than just books 📚. Summer reading programs, free events, community resources. All in all, it's a genuinely great place to spend an afternoon without spending a dime.
River City Coffee
Sometimes beating the heat is as simple as finding a great spot to slow down. River City Coffee is exactly that kind of place. It’s one of our favorite laid-back, hometown spots where the (iced) coffee is excellent, and the vibe is on point. Grab a cold brew, find a comfy seat, and just… exhale inhale the fresh, cool air.
